  • Condition: We are not Resellers, we are miners in NV and rock hounds to boot. We collected these 2002 from areas on a Geology Class UC Davis private map used by students in the 1960's. Remote and not well known areas, lots of travel and lots of time finding the X which marked the spots.

    Description

    1 Kilo  of Natural rough USA from Nevada and Arizona high deserts and from little known areas, (some near known areas, but truly not public picked much if any in the last 50 years,, in pursuit of the X all the roads seems are different now from what they were a large part of the fun was in the hunt and then the find was exciting. )
    You get the EXACT rocks in pic's and not a random scoop from a barrel of imported rocks.
    We are not resellers who bought these and turned around after purchase marked them up to you.
    We want others who with out the time and resource available to have these and explore them further.
    We are miners in Nevada, Tonopah, Turquoise and Silver (see our other post here on eBay)  Sales here truly help with our cost of current mining here in the USA, fuel etc.
    Color and value look to me, to be present in this lot, hand picked and photographed for this post.
    Pic's are with simple I-Phone, outdoors in shade, not lights or trick details other than the first pic is water only wet and the
    last pic is stone dry.
    We are geology students, undergrads and don't want to false ID any of this, but there is Petrified wood chips from NW Nevada, Turquoise Chips from Central NV,  some agate and some volcanic kind of round geode type rocks not sure of inside but we have cut some and did find a few nice star shape of quartz like Chrystal is inside, some nice quartz vein through its center, & Mica, apache tear, Pele hair.
