Hello, you are bidding on a scarce antiqu 1928 Art Deco period English sterling silver Pyx locket pendant box made by
Sanders & Mackenzie, Birmingham
. The locket was used to carry the Consecrated Host /Communion Wafer. On the front are elaborate initials IHS which is a monogram for the name of Jesus Christ.

ondition: old patina on silver. Hinges in excellent working order.
