    and then the
13th Demi-Brigade of the Foreign Legion
, the 4th Foreign Regiment was recreated in 1941 under the designation of 4th Demi-Brigade of the Foreign Legion.
    [3]
The regiment participated in 1943 in the
    Tunisian campaign
, seeing combat in the Zaghouan Mountain (or djebel).
    [3]
The regiment was again dissolved in June 1943, and its personnel were transferred to the

    ]
Chant de Marche : It's the 4th singing
    featuring:
    Through stones and
    dunes, the white kepis go.
    Under the sun, moonlight,
    We walk singing.
    To Bechar or
    to Casa,
    In all directions,
We go back to battle, For the glory of the Legion. It is the 4 by singing
who comes forward, Who advances, let him pass.
    On the slopes of
the Corbières, we go on a mission.
    A column of green benets,
    Goes to the instruction.
    Towards La Jasse or towards
    Bel-Air,
    In all
directions, Becoming a legionnaire, This is our only ambition.
