INCLUDES INTERNAL THROTTLE AND 53" BARNETT INTERNAL THROTTLE CABLE
Internal throttle kit features a needle and ball bearing construction and internal spring to help to return the throttle. Features a split wedge design to secure to the handlebar
Kit uses three types of throttle bearings:
5/32" x 5/16" x 1/8" bearing
3/8" x 7/8" x 9/32" bearing
5/8" x 13/16" x 5/8" bearing
Fits:
Custom applications with 1" handlebars
Internal throttles take some getting used to in order to ride safely, and must be set-up carefully as there is slightly greater risk of throttle cable binding along the path to the carb , and the throttle must be correctly secured to the handlebars. Proper lubrication at all times is essential for smooth operation.
Note: the lighter the throttle pull, the better this kit will perform. Recommended for single carb applications only. Requires cutting the end of the handlebar. See last picture for installation instructions
OUTSIDE DIAMETER of the throttle end that goes inside the handlebar is .795" OD (20MM)
Check yours for clearance before buying
Throttle takes a 1" ID grip - billet grips are recommended as soft grips will interfere with the bearing movement
