8 NOS CAX Wheel Weights Cadillac Buick Oldsmobile Pontiac Chevrolet Lincoln
This is a set of 8 NOS CAX style Wheel Balancing Weights for 50s, 60s and 70s Cadillacs, Buicks, Oldsmobiles, Pontiacs and Chevrolets with full size hubcaps.
These are new old stock and are in great condition, no rust spots!! This auction includes (4) 1.0  oz / 28 grams weights and
(4) 0.5  oz / 14 grams weights
. Check my other auctions for sets of just 0.5 oz  or 1.0 oz weights.
You will need these "special" wheel weights if you have a classic car from the '50s, '60s, '70s and even '80s that has full size hub caps that cover the whole wheel. Nearly all of these hubcaps attach to the wheel with little hooks that clamp onto the outer edge of the wheel. For the hubcap to stay on securely it is a MUST to have these wheel weights that have an extended mounting bracket that puts the wheel weight away from the wheel edge.
If you have ever taken your classic car to the tire dealer you will probably know the following situations. The dealers usually don't have these weights anymore more and either put the regular wheel weights on and cut off or hammer down the clips where they interfere with the wheel weights or they just put the hubcaps back on halfway and they pop off the moment you leave their driveway. Sometimes they even mount the wheel weights on the inside of the wheel which is NOT the correct way to balance a wheel!
