I had been bow fishing with a crossbow, and decided to try a compound bow. After much research, this seemed like a logical first bow. After several days of shooting with it, I don't feel any need to upgrade. It took me a couple days to get used to the 40lb constant pull, but I am doing fine with it.  I was very surprised at how close I was shooting right from the get go. I am shooting instinctively and got a sweet Talapia on my first real day out. Even when I miss, it is not by much. I adjusted the windage before I started out. I might adjust it an 1/8 turn at a time to the left, but I am hitting fish at 30' to 40'. I am doing better than with my crossbows. The bow feels solid, and looks sharp. I will likely change the hand wrap wheel for an almost identical one with a handle (crank) so as to expedite reeling in the line.
I am thoroughly enjoying this bow.
I fish to eat, not for sport.
