The Audio Ape Remote system allows you to control all of your audio and music cues from a remote in your pocket WHILE YOU ARE PERFORMING ONSTAGE.  That's right, you control it all YOURSELF (INVISIBLY AND UNBEKNOWNST TO THE AUDIENCE ) WHILE YOU ARE DOING YOUR SHOW.  No more show cue lists or someone asleep at the sound board to miss your cues!
While it does have it's own free app, it can be used with others like Go Button and QLABS.  What you are seeing in the pictures here and on the iPad screen is the Go Button app interface.  With this app, the titles for your cues can be seen on the screen from a  considerable distance (off stage or at footlights, etc) as a reminder of your next or current cue.  You can program and edit all of your music and sound effects to precise lengths as well as with delays, fade ins/outs, and even loops that stop, start again, fade, etc, at your command.
Audio files can be played directly from any iPhone or iPad that can use the supported apps.

beautiful and highly durable Pelican watertight travel case (rigged to plug the Audio Ape directly into any venue's sound system via XLR cable or through a regular headset style jack).

iPad--though this iPad is very old and can no longer be updated.  You can still upload music and other audio files to it to use with the system with no problems.

FULL DISCLOSURE: This is one of the older systems dating back to when the Audio Ape Remote System was first released.  The software and some of the accessories with it are no longer supported by the original maker. This system only works with audio cues.  However, it still works fabulously and will no doubt continue serving the user well for many years to come.
