A superb starboard side view on a sepia-toned postcard of the Brazilian Government's ITU of 1917 arriving in Taranto, Italy.  She was originally built in 1900 as CAP ROCA for the Hamburg-Sud.  She would be seized by the Brazilians when that country declared war on Germany in 1917.  Renamed ITU, she would be initially operated by the Brazilian government and would later be managed by the Lloyd Brasilieiro (in 1922)
Here is one VERY RARE and SCARCE postcard, being listed with NO RESERVE.....CHOICE!!
This lovely postcard is in very good condition.
