    This postcard shows rescue workers at the scene of the SS Eastland disaster in the Chicago River in 1915.  A picture of one of the divers is inset in the lower left hand corner.
    The card was sent in 1915 and is
    in poor condition with wear to corners and edges, as well as a vertical crease through the middle of the card.  Please see our current and future auctions for more interesting postcards and photos.
