CORVETTE 1979 fits 76-82 Scissors Jack OEM, Spare Tire, Code 8L22 (Nov 22, 1978)

Description

After 45 years of working on and around Corvettes, I'm selling my entire collection of parts. I was a Corvette body man and painter starting from back in the very early 70's. Altogether I have C2, C3, C5 and C6 items - but mostly C3 - some are NOS (New Old Stock); some are used but good condition OEM; and some are very rare items that are hard to find. FOR THIS LISTING WE HAVE A:
OEM scissors jack, for spare tire, Code 8L22 (Nov 22, 1978), removed from a 1979 Corvette, this jack is absolutely correct for 1979 Corvettes. Although there were some variations in how the factory stamped some of the jacks from 76 to 82 (see link below), these are all basically the same scissors jack used for all 76-82 cars*. Works fine, but there is no handle, jack is all original, but to be perfect needs sandblasted and painted in satin black. Aside from the production date code, you know this is correct for the later C3's because of the smaller pad on top of the scissors (earlier jacks had a much larger pad).
The parts in the photos are the actual ones that will be shipped.
