About as close to mint as can be. Tiny smaller speck or two on corner or two-just look at the pics as they don't lie-and no attempts are EVER made to make items look better than they are, in fact, it's the contrary. I did find one or two specks on the face section, but only after looking quite close.You can see a couple specks on a couple corners on the pics. There is the tarnish on the hardware from moisture during storage and the spots on inside. When I collected in the 80's and early 90's, the inside never counted, and no serious boxer even looked there. You can touch up the inside if you want-it probably would clean up beautifully if you want to.
