Greg Schooner Redware Plate

Description

Wonderful redware, artist made bowl, presented on a red clay, 3 stemmed florals in a tangerine with rich green leaves decorate the center against a mustard glaze.  The edges are trimmed in a chocolate brown.  Shooner is a well known redware artist, and demonstrates a talent for recreating historic pieces of redware.  Each piece is antiqued carefully so that it resembles an old piece.  A gorgeous work of art!

Nice condition, no cracks, no breaks.  The artist replicates a historic piece, thus an overall distressed and aged appeal to the piece.
