Rare & beautiful Very Large and Heavy Hand Crafted Sewer Tile Folk Art Sitting Cat modeled in coarse red clay with great carved details. This Ohio folk art piece was purchased at an estate sale not far from the clay capital of Ohio, Dennison. This amazing piece has a richly colored glaze and was probably done in the mid 1900's. It looks like great care was taken to keep this piece in amazing condition. It measures approx. 11" long x 12-1/2" tall x 9" wide. Unsigned. A fantastic piece to add to your sewer tile folk art collection!!
