J Henner ITALY Gold Florentine Trinket Box St Fabiola Pink Wood Vintage Roman Nurse
Saint Fabiola was a nurse and Roman matron of rank of the company of noble Roman women who, under the influence of the Church father St. Jerome gave up all earthly pleasures and devoted themselves to the practice of Christian asceticism and charitable work. A small litho signed | Henner decorates the top with gold beading carved into the wood. Gold painted lines and scrolls also decorate this small wooden box with blush pink stripes and a hinged lid.
