  • Condition: As a teenager From 1993 to 1995 I worked at Mahoney’s Too garden center in Falmouth, Massachusetts. (Cape Cod). During a promotional event John Havlicek came in to sign autographs for his fans. Prior to opening he sat down and signed his famous “good luck, John Havlicek” on a stack of standard printer style paper. As people came up for an autograph he would then only need to write “to ...whomever” to the paper to keep the line moving. As the only young person working there I got to hang with him and he signed a mini Celtics hat for me. At the end of the day he came over and gave me the remaining stack of autographs and told me to hang onto them as they might be worth good money one day. These autographs were obtained in person and are 100% authentic. Would look great matted and framed with his photo.

Online it says that Havlicek, Sam Jones and Robert Parish were extremely reluctant to sign for free.
