Laguiole Honor Durand (pronounced "Leg Oil On Er Re Durand") is a family-run company located in the village of Laguiole, France where they have been operating for the last 30 years. The Laguiole region is famous for a knife making tradition that dates back to the 1820s when the knives were originally used by peasants, vintners and farmers in the field. Nearly 190 years later, Laguiole Honor Durand is one of the only makers of the style that manufacturers in Laguiole. This results in the impeccable quality and craftsmanship that Laguiole Honor Durand is known for today.These LD1KOB slipjoint knives feature a "Forged Massive Bee" that acts as the blade stop when opening the knife. Other classy touches abound. A fully fileworked backspacer flows into the spine of the blade, which has been partially fileworked where other manufacturers might add jimping. Beautiful oak wine-barrel wood and a "shepherd's cross" pin pattern enhance the elegance of the knife. A leather pocket slip is included to protect your knife from getting scratched by other items while carrying it, making sure the knife looks as good as it performs for years to come.

Returns
All returns must be pre-authorized via phone or email. Read the listing before purchasing; if you have any questions, contact us by email. Items with free shipping returned for refund will be refunded minus our actual postage/shipping costs (no handling fee on free shipping). Shipping and Handling costs cannot be refunded unless there was an error made by the shipper. Returns after 30 days are not accepted.
