Large Early Redware Cuspidor Spitoon Stoneware (1830 - 1865)

Description

Pictured is a large early redware cuspidor available for sale.  The cuspidor is speckled & sponged with a dark manganese glaze over a very light orange background.  Great color contrast, great eye-appeal!  It measures
4 3/4" in height, 8 1/2" in diameter, & dates from 1830 - 1865.  It's in excellent condition with very light wear
(abrasion) to the brim of the rim & a very small flake to the opening, see pic #1.
