New Alfmeier (now Alfmeier Friedrichs & Rath, Made in Germany), Automotive Plastic (PA66 Nylon) Check Valves, or Vacuum Valves, or One-Way Valves, Part Number 29P-3P.22/F.  Each bid quantity is for a Lot of Five (5) Valves.  You may bid / buy any number of lots, up to the total quantity available above.
These were purchased at a salvage freight company earlier this year, and they were brand new in the original bulk factory cartons.  We packaged them in heavy Ziplok bags for resale. According to the labels, they were originally destined for Cooper Standard Automotive Inc. until something apparently happened enroute.  Quality appears superb throughout, which is what you would expect of a German made product.  PA66 Nylon is a hard yet tough polymer with good thermal stability and excellent resistance to most chemicals and especially oils.  These would be excellent for all kinds of automotive uses, from emissions and vacuum system lines to small coolant lines.  They should be great for a host of other laboratory, hobby, aquarium, hydroponics, general experimentation, and a zillion other uses.
Cracking pressure is minimal, as a breath of air easily unseats the internal check valve.  When the flow stops, the valve reseats and securely prevents flow reversal.  We tested a couple of valves overnight with inflated balloons to check for leaks, and found no discernible loss of air.  Likewise, we also pressure tested them at room temperature, and they held 160 PSI from our air compressor.  Naturally, you should perform additional testing (and have a thorough mental evaluation) before using them in applications where device failure could cause injury or loss of life.
Flow direction is "in" through the large barb and "out" through the small barb.  In other words, you can blow air into the large barb, but you can't blow into the small barb.  Conversely, with respect to vacuum, you can inhale through the small barb but you can't inhale through the large barb.  And if you accidentally get it lodged in your throat, you can only inhale or exhale (but not both), depending on which way you swallowed the valve.  That's what the ambulance driver told my assistant right before he passed out.
The first question we expect is, "What size hose (or flexible tubing) fits each end?" That's a little problematic to answer, without knowing the specifics of your hose/tubing and your exact application.
    Hose
is measured and sold according to its
    inside
    diameter, while
    tubing
    is measured according to its
    outside
diameter.  Hose is usually (but not always) more stretchy than flexible tubing.  Even if those variables are known, we still don't know if your product is firm/soft/rigid/flexible/reinforced/unreinforced/to be clamped/not to be clamped/vacuum line/pressure line/and how much.  For soft, stretchy, unreinforced hose, we would offer a ballpark estimate of about 3/8" ID on the large barb, and about 1/4" ID on the small barb.  However, we have provided exact barb diameters below to help take the guesswork out of it.  Thus, we recommend that you get your calipers, find a bolt or dowel the appropriate outside diameter, and try it with your hose or tubing.
