    Superior Honey - Orange
    from South Gate California
    Ball Glass Jar 8 oz.
    Jar measure about 3" in diameter at it's widest point
    Lid measures 2.5" in diameter
    The Superior Honey Company had offices in six different locations in South Gate, Fresno, Denver, Phoenix, Ogden, and Idaho Falls. The Company I believe was started by Fred W. Redfield in 1910 moving to Riverside Ca in 1920 and overseeing operations at the South Gate plant.  I'm not 100% about the facts but what little I could find online about this company and product I believe this glass jar to be a rare find of a company that has very little history posted on the internet. Not sure what year this is from but seeing the $.29 stamp on the lid I would guess it from the late 1950's to 1960's, just a guess I can't seem to find any more of these online or pics.
