Triumph cap plug - 1-1/8" 28mm - black - 2 each - 3450190-T0301

Description

This item consists of two black cap plugs for a variety of 1995 - 2004 Triumph motorcycle models.  The plugs go in the frame and swing arm near the footpegs.  They are easy to lose as they tend to come out when you grease the suspension, and it is bad to leave them off because dirt and water will get in to the rear suspension bearings.
My bike is a 2001 Legend TT and it has four of these plugs (that I could find).  I've included pictures of the four plugs on my bike.  Note that one of them had fallen out (which is why I started looking for these) and it has a crude substitute plug installed consisting of a bottle cap and some RTV.  One of these days I'll replace it with a new one.
These plugs are still available from Triumph dealers and places like Bike Bandit, but no one stocks them, and when you need one, you need it now.  I'm selling them two at a time so you'll have a spare.
Go out and check your bike right now to see if any of them have fallen out.  You'll save yourself an expensive suspension rebuild if you get these plugs installed before it's too late.
