Here we have a large redware folk art bowl from Betty Lou of Turtle Creek Potters. This bowl is celebrating America an amazing exuberance of decoration. On each of the 8 panels on the front side are stars flanking a typical folk art style American Eagle. On the back side of each of the 8 panels is a phrase that is also a celebration of America, such as; “United We Stand” “Justice For All” “Home of the Brave” and 5 others. It is signed “Betty Lou” and dated 2005 with “God Bless America” incised at the bottom. It is in very good condition with a coggled edge and no chips or cracks. The crazing is intentional to give it an antique look. The price sticker is still in place indicating the original price was 0.00. Please enjoy the photos for the best look.
