Fresh from a Local Estate....
Gorgeous Owl by the famous Catawba Valley (Western North Carolina) potter, Joe Reinhardt.
This Beautiful  blue eyed owl is great looking!
Primitive, but pretty!
It is difficult to tell from the photos how beautiful the color of this glaze is!
It is a deep, alkaline olive green glaze.
13.25" tall.
Bottom of owl missing 2 talons. I don't know if a repair was done on the bottom please see picture.
Unique art form here in the south!
