Double deck Heileman’s Old Style Lager Beer Playing Cards. Two complete sets, none missing with a total of four jokers. Vintage, circa 1948. Manufactured in St. Paul Minnesota. Original green plastic container reads on the back side of box in fine print and with embossed letters the following: Remembrance Brown & Bigelow,St. Paul, Minn. the box measures 5” x 4” x 1”. A collectible, rare item . Date of manufacture not known but is probably around 1948. The Ace of Spade cards have the USPC code 11-J. The box does not have the “tax stamp”. Heileman beer was founded by Gottlieb Heileman from Germany in La Crosse Wisconsin, back in 1858. It operated until 1996. These cards are in excellent condition, especially for their age. ((1940’s).
