Vintage GM Spare Tire Lock Chevrolet Buick Oldsmobile Pontiac Cadillac GMC ????

Offered here is one NOS (new old stock), Original GM Spare Tire Lock with the Original GM keys.
This lock came with with some other NOS GM Dealership parts. I have no idea what the correct applications for this lock are, so please do your own homework on this one before buying.
I do know it was made sometime between the late 1940's to 1966 because of the keys. GM used this key blank from 1938 thru 1966. Some time in the late 1940's GM had the Rochester Division start making these key blanks (along with Briggs and Stratton) to take up some slack in the key supply. These keys have the GM logo and on one side say "Your Key To Greater Value" and on the other side they say "Rochester Products Division". I don't know exactly when Rochester stopped making these blanks. I do know they were still making them in 1967. As I said, these are the 1938-1966 style and my guess is this lock is from the late 1940's to the late 1950's but I don't know for sure. It could be Chevrolet, Buick, Pontiac Oldsmobile, GMC or Cadillac. If you know the exact application for this lock please let me know.
