Vintage TEXACO Large 9" X 14" Green Oil Can With Lid Military???

Description

I have for sale this TEXACO green oil can.
This probably was for grease of some kind.
I think this is from the Military only because of the color, but don't know for sure.
This measures
9" Tall
by 14" across
and has a lid you can crimp the edges down.
Has some pealing around the bottom edge and some scuffing on the outside.
You can see a couple of spots on the bottom of the can like someone fix a tiny pin hole and same on the side bottom,
"hard to see on the inside ones"
