YAMAHA MDP-5 Mobile Data Player, well-used, still works! Missing an English language manual.

This was a great little unit back when I got it new in 2002 or so, and I used it for about 10 years to play my midi backing tracks as a musician. Back then I attached a couple pieces of velcro to it: 1 on the bottom to keep it attached to a stand, and 1 on top to hold a little light so I could see the read-out in dim light. Since then it has quite a bit of grime, and most of the once-white plastic case has turned dirty yellow. If you're unfamiliar with Yamaha's XG midi sounds, you'll likely be very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sounds on the demo.
When I switched to laptop and Showplay almost 20 years ago, the MDP wound up on a shelf in the garage until now. I was surprised to discover it still works. The original power supply is missing, but I found a spare 9v 500mA that works, and I'll include it.
The MDP also has a 3.3v 8MB storage card included, and it still has my old midi tracks on it. As I recall, however, that 8MB card was one of the weak points: the cards didn't last forever, and it became hard to find new ones that size.
Also included: the original manual. You'll need to read Japanese to get much value from it. I don't know whether an English manual is available elsewhere, but you may need one to figure out all the functions and the filing system. Also includes a soft case that was made for something else but I found it at a yard sale and it happened to fit.
